In my previous blog about Glamourbox's Beauty SOS box, one of the products included is the Rejuva Lash Serum.
Just like any other hair-growing products, I have to admit that I am a bit suspicious of the Rejuva Lash Serum because I'm not too sure if its really effective. I have seen my father-in-law use up all the hair-growing products that he could put his hands on but until this day, he is as bald as Michael Jordan. (Sorry Pa! Tihee!)
I tried the eyelash extension fad but in just 2 weeks, I really REGRET having them. Lashes started falling out and since my real lash is very short, it looked ridiculous! I literally wanted to cut the false ones to match my real lashes!
Anyway, I'd love to let you know how I feel about the product, so bear with me and read on.
The product is a bit expensive at P2,860.00 (SRP) for only a 5ml bottle. Which is why I am grateful that Glamourbox included it in my Beauty SOS box subscription.
It was honestly the last product that I opened.

Well, I told myself that since I am all that - SHORT, SPARSE and BRITTLE LASHED GIRL - then I may be the best candidate to try this product out.
I received the Beauty SOS box last Sept. 26, 2013 and I tried out the product three days after opening the box.
I carefully read the instructions, because I think, one of the most precious organs that we have are our eyes. I am really very careful in choosing which products I use on my precious peepers as I don't want to end up being blind.
It has a simple and direct instructions on how to apply the product. Clean the area, apply as you would an eye liner, close your eyes for two minutes to let the product seep into the roots of the lashes, once a day.
Okay, so I took photos of myself before I tried the product, I even had to tweeze out a couple of lashes to measure them.

It may be a bit expensive, but you can see results in a month's time. So I guess, if you are tired of putting on false eyelashes or if you've drilled a hole in your pockets to have your bi-weekly eyelash extension sessions, then this is probably the best alternative.
Would I recommend it? DEFINITELY!

After receiving the trial product (from a China address), I got charged the USD99.99 two weeks from paying the initial shipping fee for the free trial and then when I called the bank about it, they warned me for another upcoming USD99.99 and USD5.99 two weeks after the first USD99.99 charge. But bank wants me to liaise with the vendor first before they conduct an investigation. Not sure if I can get my $$ back.. How did your bank credit the money back for you?

I did read the terms/policy and understood very well. I sent them the request to cancel the -what they call "Enrollment Program" to avoid beeing charged monthly after the purchase of the free trial. They Charged me anyways when I clearly followed their policy and asked not to.. That's why I just couldn't believe what they did and they still do it to people! Not cool at all... at least I sent a request to investigation fraud to my Bank and they verified my research and I got my money back Thank God! ;)

But eventually after one week's time there was another deduction of USD99 without my consent. This is cheating. If its meant for free trial it should be free and not to charge without our knowledge.. DeleteI cancelled my credit card; I contact the bank and got a refund; because I called and said it was probably a scam because of the numerous complaints from people on Rejuvalash's facebook page and reviews and blogs... They just steel money from people, it's not right. The Bank told me to send copies of my emails and rejuvalash's policy (that they didn't respect) cause you're supposed to cancel an "enrollment program" within 14 days after the free trial purchase, which they ignored; so I told and sent everything to the bank and security investigation for fraud. At least I got a refund!......

DeleteIt DOES lengthen lashes, it really, really does. SIGNIFICANTLY. There was no change until the 2nd week of use. I have the finest, sparsest lashes and this Rejuvalash helped me make my lashes look so much better. Keep up the great job!

I am in the process of getting my bank to investigate these charges and hopefully the bank will not ask me to pay for them. ReplyDeleteI would say it was a bit annoying that this caused some itchiness around my eyes during my 1st week of use, but it wasn't unbearable. That being said, I persisted and used it consistently, every night before bedtime. And there were truly noticeable results after 3 weeks! Prior to using Rejuvalash, my eyelashes were never really a feature in my eye makeup. Now, the eyelashes (with mascara) make all the difference in the world in my makeup look.

It's not just Rejuvalash that do this, most of these websites offer free trials, don't deliver and then charge. If it's legitimate, you'll find it in a top quality store, just do some research and find them.

They aren't theatrically long, but they are naturally and NOTICEABLY long, and very flattering. Finally, I have no problems with spending too much time to make my eyes look at its best. DeleteI think the best way is to contact your credit card company, get them to cancel your card or replace them. Screenshots all proof of "free trial" webpages and keep evidence of any form of contact you try to engage with them. I have to sign a "Letter of Dispute" with my CC company as well.

And I only used it TWICE because the packaging stated from CHINA and I was afraid it could be a scam and thought paying USD$5.99 for this lesson should be fine. BUT alas............ -.-
I think its unfair that they tricked people into signing up for this FREE TRIAL and did not send any emails of confirmation of transactions. What's a FREE TRIAL/GIFT if you gotta pay for it after? And I paid SGD$256 for a stupid tube!! If they said we agree to purchase it, where is our invoice?
Same thing happened to me and the bank reported my credit card as stolen. I have to wait until June 30th and if I haven't received any product (which I doubt I will), the bank will launch an investigation. Did anyone have problems after their credit cards where cancelled? I have emailed the company twice as it states on the policy to cancel.
ReplyDeleteI think Rejuvalash is legit and is working. I first tried Rejuvalash last winter. In just two weeks I noticed my eyelashes were longer, and new lashes were growing out as well. It also improved the appearance of my eyebrows. The actual thickness of the hairs improved as much as I'd hoped it would. This does work pretty well.

I paid the £2.99 shipping and found out many people have been scammed and have had £100 extra taken from their account. I rang my bank and they cannot cancel the shipping payments but have blocked any further payments to that company. If they do take out the extra money the bank have informed me there is no guarantee you can get your money back as the website has no liable contact details. Pleaae be careful and do not give this websitw your bank details. Thankfully ive been able to block them before its too late!!!!!

I have tried a lot of other serums for my thin and weak lashes and all have worked ok, but Rejuvalash worked best! It restored my eye lashes to what they were when I was a teenager. They are even thicker than ever and also seem stronger in their roots. This is worth the price and I will never stop buying ;)

You are always covered by Mastercard/ visa/ amex if you can prove you havent receive your goods (keep all emails) it is then down to the credit card company/ card aquirer to investigate on your behalf once you have exhausted all your options and you will get your money back.

ReplyDeleteI have been away and have been charged $99.00 six times. This is absolutely outrages. I do not even get my hair done every month because I do not spend that much on my vanity. But turns out if you try and find an inexpensive way to do things you will be scammed. I am very unhappy with this company and am outraged by the number of people who have been scammed. Visa will not reimburse me because I actually received the product, which I by no means wanted or am happy with, or knowingly would have purchased. I don't know how this compares to the higher priced versions, but you can get this for an affordable amount. Use it consistently every night, and will perfectly work. It took about 2-3 weeks before the improvement was actually noticeable, but it’s more than satisfying. Thumbs up for Rejuvalash.

I've been using this for a couple months now and it still works wonderfully. My eyelashes look so long, it's great. I'm so glad that I decided to take a chance on this. It took my lashes the full 3 weeks before I could really see the long gorgeous fuller, darker, lash results. I have now been using this product 3 months and I don't even use mascara. ReplyDeleteWith Rejuvalash my lashes have almost doubled in length! They also look darker and I do notice a lot of new lash growth in between of my existing lashes. At this rate I would be willing to bet that my lashes will be close to touching my brows within the next month. I have moved to only using two good coats of mascara and my lashes have that false lash look now.

There is no question that my lashes are longer, and the results are almost unbelievable. At first, I just wanted to enhance what I had and get some length. It did that and went beyond. ReplyDeleteThis serum definitely works! I think it does because the formula itself is so fantastic. This probably works just as well as rubbing olive oil on your eyelashes every night but it's much more convenient and safer as well for sensitive eyes. I've seen sparse patches fill in faster than usual as well as my lashes growing quite long without breaking off. If you're expecting a miracle, forget about it, but if you're looking to prevent breakage, and grow your lashes fuller and sexier, then I'd say give this a try!

I have used this for months now and I am constantly getting compliments on how long my lashes look. If you use this on a daily basis and then curl your lashes and use mascara they will look like false lashes! I used to splurge on expensive mascara to achieve long, full lashes but now I just use Rejuvalash and my lashes look better than they ever have!
ReplyDeleteI have used many expensive products to improve my lashes. They worked, but some have been discontinued and others irritated my eyes. I couldn't believe that this would actually work the greatest. Not only are my lashes longer, but they are thicker. Amazing at this very affordable price. I apply it to my lashes to the base with the brush nightly, and it works at its best in that routine.

It is so much cheaper than other serums and the results are almost as good, and even better. I haven't had any of the redness or side effects that I experienced with other brands. My lashes are fuller and longer, and for me, thi is something huge and amazing. I have lighter lashes than most, and they were always very thin. But Rejuvalash has made a huge change in that. ReplyDeleteI bought Rejuvalash because a friend encouraged me to try it. And actually works! Then, I decided to continuously use it every night, and took a pause in applying mascara. In a couple of weeks my lashes were longer and thicker. I noticed they were touching my sunglasses like they used to when I was younger. I just purchased my second tube after having the first one for about 11 months.
ReplyDeleteI used to have the eyelashes that everyone envied. The ones that were so naturally long and easily reached my eyebrows, until last summer when i singed them off almost completely. I bought Rejuvalash not long after. I put it on after I shower at night before I go to bed, and wash it off in the morning. The results are amazing! DeleteMy lashes are now at even length and I have to say this product worked on it very well. I noticed them growing and on top of that, Rejuvalash has also made my lashes a lot stronger. It’s evident when I remove my eye make-up, and not a single lash falls out despite rubbing it, and I love that!

My eyelashes were one of my best features and but I was dismayed as I grow older that they have grown sparser and stubbier. Addition to this details I asked them where i should ship it back because it clearly states on answer no. 4 that i should not send it back to the sender address which the product came from Taiwan and they send me an email and provided me another address where to send back the product and its in Netherlands.
I searched both addresses and found out that they have used both addresses to sell other product under the name of Garcinium which is a food supplement and do the same marketing strategy. Making it look like a FREE TRIAL RISK FREE and YOU ONLY PAY THE SHIPPING COST but since they got your credit card details already they will charge your credit card without your knowledge... And its been all over the world. Different people, different country, different product but same experience and same address that they are using.
I am sharing this experience because it is not to really fair for everyone to be mislead and lose their hard earned money for this kind of scam and its been going on for a while. They are just keep on changing the product from food supplement Garcinium to beauty product Rejuvalash... SO PLEASE BEWARE they might be thinking other ways how to scam other people again and again.
This is one of the few products that has worked for me, and worked well. Good results after 3 weeks, amazing length after 1 month. With mascara, peeps think I have falsies or extensions on. However, I have seen many other lash-growing serums in the market. Maybe you can try them out instead of this one. Just to be safe. I am in the process of reviewing yet another eyelash growing serum, i will upload it as soon as i am done with the tube and let you know.
